A Story of Success
With two self-built vulcanization presses, the success story of Thomas Büchele in Öhringen begins in 1988. Initially still as a sole proprietor, the founding of Büchele Gummitechnik GmbH followed in 1993, thanks to his inventive spirit, paired with entrepreneurial courage and a clear vision for the future. This was accompanied by the move into newly rented business premises in Öhringen, the hiring of the first employees, and the acquisition of new machines to meet the constantly growing demand. Just one year later, the company was able to move into its own production hall and office building at the Bretzfeld-Schwabbach site.
The highest standards of quality, an unwavering determination to achieve the best possible solution, and a strong customer orientation have ensured the successful development of Büchele Gummitechnik GmbH to this day. A steadily growing customer base repeatedly required the expansion of the machinery and the hiring of new employees, along with the enlargement of production, storage, and office space. In 1999, the establishment of a branch facility and the start of production in Split (Croatia) followed. Here, medium and large-scale series are produced in shift operations.
The passion, commitment, and visionary leadership of Thomas Büchele have profoundly shaped the company. He succeeded in combining innovation with artisanal precision, thereby laying the foundation for sustainable success. For him, uncompromising quality, individual solutions, and the wishes of customers were always paramount. Certification according to the international ISO 9000 standard including IQNet, as well as the expansion of business activities to include the development and production of PTFE surface coatings, were therefore only logical steps.
Today, an experienced management team, together with our dedicated employees, continues to uphold these values. Our goal is to carry forward and keep alive the life’s work of Thomas Büchele, to preserve his high standards of quality, and at the same time to move into the future with innovative ideas. We look forward to continuing to inspire our customers with tailor-made solutions and first-class service.
